We’re Hiring! Assistant Accountant

To support our continued growth, the increase in demand for our innovative digital print & brand management solutions and our future plans for investment & expansion, we are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our team at Springfield Solutions part of the All4Labels Global Packaging Group.

The Role:

We require an individual to join our Finance team in a Full-Time role to carry out the following duties:

• The carrying out of basic day to day accounting functions
• Preparation and updating of budgets, profit and loss and cash flow accounts
• Preparation of monthly accounts consistent with relevant covenant requirements
• Understanding and preparation of the year end management accounts and balance sheet
• Effective liaison with the Senior Management Team and Directors as required
• Effective liaison with external financial institutions i.e. banks, auditors etc
• Utilisation of financial information for costing purposes and to guide the future plans of the business
• Provide appropriate advice as required at the time of escalation for any major commercial or operational issues
• To deliver agreed Key Performance Indicators and Objectives as defined by the company strategy and tactical activity plans

The Successful Candidate will:

• Ideally be qualified at degree level or equivalent accounting qualifications
• Preferably have already have business experience
• Have the ability to use Opera or Sage financial software packages is preferable, but full training will be provided
• Have a high level of awareness of standard business commercial issues
• Be people oriented with excellent listening and communication skills
• Have excellent levels of numeracy and attention to detail
• Be agile, flexible and able to learn quickly within a complex business operation
• Be highly organised and proactive with strong planning and time management skills
• Be able to build relationships with both external and internal stakeholders
• Be confident in Microsoft 365/Office Packages – Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
